Glover Park Main Street (GPMS) is launching a Small Business Support Grant program!

Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until 5:00p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

Is my business eligible for a grant?

Small, locally-owned businesses located inside the GPMS corridor may apply. To propose a project, please complete the attached RFP and criteria.

When is the deadline?

Project proposals will be accepted through Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

When will I receive the funds?

Awards will be disbursed immediately after selection, through December 31, 2020.

What is the maximum amount I can receive?

For this round of grants, we have capped awards at $3,000.

Can I use this money to improve my building’s façade?

No, not at this time.

What are some examples of eligible projects?

Projects might include a pivot to a new line of business, like offering delivery services or taking the business online. Support may help purchase PPE for staff, plexiglass barriers, computer hardware or software. Various consulting services may also be supported. Tell us what you need in the proposal!

I have received support from GPMS in the past. Can I apply?

Absolutely. Grants are available based on project description and need.

I’m thinking of starting a business. Can I apply for funding?

GPMS loves to hear about new local businesses! However, this assistance is intended for established businesses. Please review eligibility criteria.

Can I apply for funding for a future project?

All projects must be completed and all funds spent by June 30, 2021.
